Summer is here and we are here for it! In the month ahead, we have an excellent line-up of workshops for you and your families.
June 30: Making Vitamin C Gummies
Join us at the garden on Monday, where LoriAnn Bird, Métis herbalist and author of Revered Roots, will show us how to make your own Vitamin C Gummies for strength and vigour. This workshop is open to children and adults.
July 9: Healing Power of Wild Plants
Join us for a gathering on ancestral plant wisdom, exploring the nourishing, healing, and relational power of wild plants. With LoriAnn Bird as your guide, connect with wild, edible and medicinal plants across North America.
July 20: Summer Pruning
If you’ve ever been to one of our work parties, you’ve met our Garden Coordinator, Alex Kaiser. His work focuses on education surrounding ecosystem friendly food production (agroecology) and gardening as an art form. Join us on Sunday, July 20, to learn more about summer pruning.
Registrations will be open soon.
