We are redeveloping the space we know as “Ed’s Garden”.

The VPB removed the chain link fence in March 2025 and community members have come together to support the redesign; soil moving, staking the walkway, building planter boxes and accessible beds for the gathering space.

The Learning Garden centres place-based education with an Indigenous lens; we will be growing native plants in collaboration with local Indigenous groups, and will host gatherings, workshops, educational activities, and more.

Work parties usually take place on Tuesdays, but we are making an exception this Sunday, as we have lots of gravel to move to the pathways! Sign up here to help us build the garden.

All experience levels are welcome! Volunteers must read and agree to the terms of the Gardeners Agreement.
