Garden Work Party: Bee-Friendly Planting and Foraging in Riley Park

Garden Work Party: Bee-Friendly Plants and Foraging in Riley Park

Join us on Sunday 30, 12-2PM as we shape out the growing areas and do planting in the Riley Park Community Garden! We'll meet in the garden, at the southeast corner of Ontario Street and E 30th Avenue.

1-2pm is a Workshop with Lori Weidenhamer on  Bee Friendly Plants and Lori Snyder on  Foraging.

We will provide some tools but if you have a pair of gardening gloves or a wheelbarrow, please bring them. Dress for the weather to stay warm and dry; conditions in the garden may be muddy and wet. Family and friends of all ages and abilities welcome!

Please RSVP below so that we can contact you in case we have to change or postpone the work party due to inclement weather or too-wet conditions in the garden. Thank you!
